AppNexus Closes $75 Million Round

AppNexus, a NYC-based real-time advertising technology platform has closed a Series D round last week. Technology Crossover Ventures served as the lead investor. Tribeca Venture Partners alongside Venrock, the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family, also participated in this latest round.

AppNexus has an impressive roster of past investors including Ben Horowitz, Kodiak Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, Microsoft, Marc Andreessen, First Round Capital, and Ron Conway.

Congratulations to AppNexus CEO Brian O’Keely and his team on the closing of this latest round of financing. In spite of some recent negative sentiment surrounding the ad-tech space, it is great to see another New York startup command a sizeable financing and build further traction in this competitive landscape.
