Blip CEO Kelly Day

What does “Made in NY™” mean to you and your company?

Reflective of the values of many great New Yorkers and NY based companies before us – ambitious, creative, game-changers.

What can be done to maximize the “Made in NY™” campaign?

Recognize and reward companies for supporting the NY tech ecosystem and culture that’s currently flourishing.

What else can be done to promote early stage entrepreneurship in NYC?

More on-campus programs and internships with local companies; more funding/investment for early stage companies, via VCs, incubators. Better tax incentives for building companies in lower Manhattan.

Where does your company fit in the ecosystem?

We were one of the original NY tech companies, founded in 2006, but still relativity early stage as far as building a consumer brand. The best is yet to come!
