Startup Act 3.0 – Where Job Creation and Immigration Reform Meet [Infographic]


While the STEM Jobs Act of 2012 may have died, lawmakers are now fighting for Startup Act 3.0, which seeks to provide visas for foreign-born entrepreneurs.  Why is the act so important?  Consider the fact that startups create an average of 3 million American jobs each year.  Some of the biggest startups – Google, Yahoo! and eBay – happen to have been founded by immigrants.  This infographic by the Kauffman Foundation explains the importance of foreign entrepreneurship for U.S. job creation.
