Taking a look forward, here are a few events that are coming up this week that should prove to be excellent:

On Monday afternoon, Columbia Technology Ventures hosts Louis P. Berneman, an expert in the field of venture capital and university technology transfer, who will offer insight into the decision-making process for VC firms and shed light on what VC funding can do for your startup – VC101: A Primer on Venture Capital (Morningside) at Columbia University.

Accelerator deadlines are fast approaching.  Learn more about Dreamit Ventures this Tuesday afternoon – DreamIt NY Lunch & Learn @ WeWork SoHo West at WeWork Soho West.

On Wednesday evening,  WAM Ventures hosts some of the leading women who support women entrepreneurs in the city NYC: Women Game-Changers Lead! at ThoughWorks.

On Friday, 4th Annual NYU Entrepreneurs Festival starts and this two day extravaganza will feature keynotes, panels, roundtables, workshops, an NYU Venture Showcase (feat. 50+ NYU Startups), and an awesome after party.

On Saturday, join an All-star founder and a VC for brunch as they discuss what it takes to build a successful company in NYC –  brunch(work) at Plated.
