Monday, March 25th | 6-9pm | Village Pourhouse, NYC
#DisruptingTheUnDisrupted is our new event series featuring Founders and Co-Founders of Startups disrupting stagnant industries.
The first event in the series features the NYC startup Vengo (formerly TaxiTreats) which has developed a high-tech vending machine that you will soon see in hotels, bars, and taxis.
Winners of the City of New York’s “NYC Next Idea 2012″ Contest, Vengo just raised a $1M seed round from top New York area investors including David Tisch, Brad Feld, Gary Vaynerchuk, Mark Wachen, NYU Innovation Fund, and others.
Check out their TechCrunch feature here.
Come listen to the Founders of Vengo speak about their journey to achieving this wonderful milestone. Listen to their story of how they started, what inspired the idea, the challenges they faced and lessons learned along the way ultimately causing them to pivot. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as network with the Founders.
Village Pourhouse is playing gracious host with seating setup in the private back room, with the music turned down and extended happy hour specials. Happy Hour specials include $2 Bud Light drafts and 2 for 1 Vision Vodka, Red Bull & Vodka, Sauza Margaritas, Jim Beam, and Cruzan Rum Cocktails.
Please Note: This event series is designed to give guests a more intimate networking experience so tickets are limited to 100 to ensure everyone has a seat or a comfortable place to stand and ample networking room. So if you plan on attending, get your tickets because it will sell out fast.
