What does “Made in NYTM” mean to you and your company?
It symbolizes the kind of entrepreneurship, pride, energy, culture and vision that defines our company and our team.
What can be done to maximize the “Made in NYTM” campaign?
The campaign should utilize a web platform to connect investors and NYC startups. There should also be regular, informative meetups where “Made in NYTM” brings in city officials to interact with members of startups.
What else can be done to promote early stage entrepreneurship in NYC?
There should be internship matching programs through which the city and universities all around the country can connect college grads and entrepreneurs with New York-based businesses. These programs will advertise what companies/businesses are located in New York while drawing a variety of talent to the city.
Where does your company fit in the ecosystem?
We are a growing, Angel-funded company launched and located around Bryant Park. Boomset is hiring people, bringing in interns and helping the NYC entrepreneurship ecosystem grow.
