MongoDB, the next generation database program, has confidentially filed for its IPO according to several reports. Founded by Kevin Ryan, Dwight Merriman, and Eliot Horowitz in 2007, MongoDB has a total of $303.4M in funding across 9 rounds. The company is backed by Altimeter Capital, EMC, EquityZen, Fidelity Investments, Flybridge Capital Partners, Goldman Sachs, In-Q-Tel, Intel Capital, New Enterprise Associates, Red Hat, Salesforce Ventures, Sequoia Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Union Square Ventures.
In it’s last round of funding in 2015, the post money valuation was reported to be $1.6B. In May, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs were selected to be bookrunners for the IPO.
