According to a recent SEC filing, Dubsmash, the video messaging app that allows users to lip sync over popular content, has raised an additional $4.7M in funding. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $6.7M and that five investors participated in this close. Founded by Daniel Taschik, Jonas Drupel, Roland Grenke, and Tim Specht in 2014, Dubsmash previously raised a total of $15.4M in reported equity funding. Investors in previous rounds include Index Ventures, Balderton Capital, Lowercase Capital, Eniac Ventures, Hasso Plattner Ventures, Heartcore Capital, Raine Ventures, and Riccardo Zacconi.
