SPATE, the forecasting platform that uses machine learning to provide and predict trend insights, has raised $1.8M in Seed funding from investors that include Y Combinator, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Kima Ventures, Initialized Capital, and Avrhm Capital. SPATE was founded by two former Googlers, Olivier Zimmer and Yarden Horwitz, in 2018 and the company is a graduate of Y Combinator.
