Amperon, the company using AI in conjunction with smart meters to improve energy efficiency, has raised an additional $1.4M in what appears to be a convertible note according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $2M and that twelve investors participated in this close. Founded by Sean Kelly and Abe Stanway in 2017, Amperon had previously raised a total of $860K in reported equity funding from investors that include SV Angel, Notation Capital, Lattice Ventures, and Ramez Naam.
