EastMeetsEast, the dating site for those interested in Asian singles that has rebranded to EME, has raised $7M in funding according to a recent SEC filing funding. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $10M and that there were three investors in this close. Investors in previous rounds include 500 Startups, Asahi Medialab Ventures, DG Lab Fund (jointly established by Digital Garage and Daiwa Securities Group), and Mobile Internet Capital. Founded by Kenn Ejima and Mariko Tokioka in 2013, EastMeetsEast has now raised a total of $12.6M in reported equity funding.
