Viva Chu is the co-founder and CEO of Powhow, the leading global platform for live webcam classes. Viva is a successful tech entrepreneur whose previous companies include Handipoints, a virtual world for kids that was acquired by Slide and is now part of Google, and Transplay, an early pioneer of in-game advertising, acquired by Massive Incorporated, a subsidiary of Microsoft. More than five years before the very first Facebook games, Viva invented and patented a system for in-game ad placements and virtual commerce. Viva has a Computer Science degree from Duke University and loves to play and watch basketball, especially when it involves beating UNC.
