Founded by Augusto RodrÃguez-Villa in 2007Alga Energy is backed by Iberdrola, Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), EASME – EU Executive Agency for SMEs, Yokogawa Electric Corp., and Sviluppo Imprese Centro Italia and is headquartered in Alcobendas.
