The summer event lull is over.  It’s time to get back in gear and shake the rust off of your networking skills (just don’t wear white)…

Here’s our curated list of a few NYC startup events for this first full week of September 2015.

Kick of the week right on Tuesday evening when our friends at Entrepreneurs Roundtable host an another evening of startup pitches with feedback from angel investor extraordinaire Brian Cohen of New York Angels and New York Venture Partners. Brian was recently named as one of the “25 Angel Investors in New York You Need to Know” by some publication called AlleyWatch –  Entrepreneurs Roundtable 86 at Microsoft.

On Wednesday evening, join the largest tech meetup in the world for its monthly gathering – September 2015 NY Tech Meetup and Afterparty at Skirball Center.

It’s that time of year again and Fashion Week is fast approaching.   Join Startup Weekend as it hosts its second annual NYC Global Fashion Battle hackathon starting on Friday evening – Startup Weekend NYC Global Fashion Battle at Initiative Media.



On September 16th, join SendGrid for an afternoon of user engagement, product innovations and email strategy best practices. Learn how some of the fast-growing companies tackle the ever-growing challenges of transactional and marketing email engagement – Email Matters at 404 NYC.
