Kyras Therapeautics, the cancer related Biotech company has raised a Series A round of funding from Versant Ventures. This is the first round of funding.

AeroFarms, the company that is growing plants without sun or soil, has raised a $20M Series B round. Led by Wheatsheaf Group, other investors included Middleland Capital, MissionPoint Capital Partners and GSR Ventures.

Kallyope, the company that is harnessing the gut-brain axis has raised $44M in a Series A round. Investors include Alexandria Venture, Tony Evnin, The Column Group, Illumina, Lux Capital, Polaris Partners. This comes as a top 10 Series A round in NYC’s Series A history.

Sundar, the digital jewelry platform for discovery and more has raised a $1.3M Seed round led by New Enterprise Associates, with support from Correlation Ventures and Techstars Ventures. This is founder Jag Gill’s first round of funding.

MediaWallah, the people intelligence platform, has raised a Seed round to mark Founder’s Nancy Marzouk first round of funding.

PebblePost, the director of programmatic direct mail, has announced the appointment of Elke Wong as VP of Customer Success and Jacquelyn Goldberg as the company’s first Director of Sales. The two hires will be instrumental in educating and attracting customers to their product.  AlleyWatch has previously covered PebblePost.

Knot Standard, the high quality custom menswear, has raised their 4th round of funding from Traub Capital. Founders John Ballay and Matthew Mueller have raised $3.44M to date.

Vroom, the online marketplace to buy and sell cars, has raised a $95M Series C round. Investors included Allen & Company, T. Rowe Price, General Catalyst Partners and Catterton Partners.

Depositphotos, the content marketplace, has raised a Series B of $5M led by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with support from TMT Investments. Founder Dmitry Sergeev has raised a total of $8M.

Ten Machines Corp., the developer of the Rage app, has raised a Seed round of funding led by Karl Mehta.
