Armed with some data from our friends at CrunchBase, I broke down the 10 largest rounds in NYC during the month of January. I have included some additional information as well such as industry and investors in the round, to further the analysis. For the purposes of this analysis only equity funding rounds were considered and biotech financings were ignored to keep a focus on tech enabled startups. Financing in the month of January was quite robust with nearly $850M in equity fundings across 40+ rounds.
