Rocketrip, the business travel platform, has raised $9M in Series B funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Genacast Ventures and Canaan Partners. Gillian Tee and Daniel Ruch, the founders, have raised $17.18M over 5 rounds.

Pypestream, the messaging app for businesses to connect with clients, has raised a Venture of $4.88M. The founder, Richard Smullen, has raised $7.46M to date.

Try the World, the company delivering curated gourmet food from around the world, has raised $3M in a Venture round of funding. To date, the company has raised $6M.

Hooch, the drink a day subscription app, has announced the acquisition of not one but two apps – Grotto and Flux. Terms were not disclosed. “HOOCH represents a new generation of hospitality tech companies, where we aim to connect consumer, data and technology in new ways, starting with transforming and enhance the social experience of drinking that existed for thousands of years,” said HOOCH CEO Lin Dai, “the industry is evolving, recent consolidations highlight the importance of vertical integration. We believe dynamic demand and pricing management will bring a whole new dimension to on-premise discovery and consumption for millennials.”

Soundwall, the company creating wireless connected canvases, has raised a Series A round of $5M from BlueRun Ventures. This is the first round of funding for the company.

Moburst, the cutting edge marketing company, has raised $1.6M in a Venture round for the company’s third round. Founders Lior Eldan and Gilad Bechar have so far raised $2.44M.

InVision, the leading product design platform, has raised $55M in Series D funding led by Iconiq Capital with participation from Accel and FirstMark Capital. Founders Clark Valberg and Ben Nadel have raised $134.1M over their 5 rounds of funding.

SecurityScorecard Inc., the Cybersecurity company, has raised $20M in Series B funding from Google Ventures with participation existing investors Sequoia Capital, Evolution Equity Partners, Boldstart Ventures, and Two Sigma Ventures. In addition to the funding they have announced Karim Faris (GV General Partner) and Tom Mendoza (Vice Chairman of NetApp) to their Board of Directors. The company has raised $34.7M over their 3 rounds.

Congratulations to our friends at Monarq and Alicia Syrett on the success of the first invitation-only MentHERnyc Conference focused on catapulting women-led early stage companies in the New York area through a day full of intensive programming.  The event connected 60 female founders, selected from a pool of 400+ applicants, with the investment and mentor community in NYC.  The curated programming included panels on press tips, investment advice, and navigating the startup landscape as a female entrepreneur in addition to several intimate mentorship sessions with paired advisors.

The Muse, the company helping Millennials succeed in todays job market, has raised a Series B round of $16M led by Icon Ventures with support from QED Investors, DBL Partners and Aspect Ventures. The company has raised $28.7M over 4 rounds of funding.

Verve, the mobile marketing platform has acquired Roximity, the company that allows merchants to send targeted messages to passerbys. The details of the acquisition were left undisclosed. The company also raised $30M in Debt Financing from Silicon Valley Bank.

Clubhouse Software, the productivity tool for software companies and engineering teams, founded by Andrew Childs and Kurt Schrader in 2014, has announced a $1.79M seed financing. Previous investors in the company include BoxGroup, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Daniel Curran, Flight Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, New Venture Capital, Resolute.VC, and RRE Ventures. The company has now raised $3.79M across 2 separate seed rounds.
