Today, I take a look at the state of venture capital and angel funding during the month of December, both in New York and nationally. Analyzing some publicly available data from our friends at CrunchBase, we break down the national aggregate statistics for all funding deals by stage of funding (Seed, Series A, Series B, and Series C+, as well as venture unspecified rounds less than $10M).
One Minute Takeaway:
Funding in New York was extraordinary in the month of December thanks to some very large late stage rounds and Softbank’s Vision Fund.
