Podcasting network Luminary, which seeks to be the Netflix of podcasts, has raised $60M in funding led by New Enterprise Associates. Founded by Lauren Perkins, Matt Sacks, and Phong Nguyen in 2018, Luminary has now raised $100M in funding over two rounds.

Blueground provides turnkey flexible rental apartments, making it ideal for those who travel for extended periods of time for work. Founded by Alex Chatzieleftheriou, it

has raised $20M from VentureFriends, Endeavor Catalyst, Jabbar Internet Group and serial entrepreneur Kevin Ryan. Blueground has now raised a total of $27.4M across four rounds.

According to a recent SEC filing, Tagomi, the electronic exchange for digital assets, has an additional raised $10.7M in funding. The filing lists Marc Bhargava of Kal Velpuri’s Brainchild Holdings as an Executive and Director. Jennifer Campbell of Union Square Ventures, Craig Shapiro of the Collaborative Fund, Napolean Ta of Founders Fund, and Greg Tusar are all listed as Directors. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $12M and that there were fifteen participants in this close. Tagnomi previously raised $12.7M in March of 2018.

According to a recent SEC filing, hospitality booking app One Night has raised $5M in funding led by SWaN & Legend. Incubated by Standard Hotels, the company is led by Amar Lalvani, Standard International’s CEO, and Jimmy Suh, Standard International’s Chief Commercial Officer. The filing indicates that there were six participants in the round.

The four-year-old startup, Serial Box, creates and delivers the best stories in audio and for reading, allowing people to seamlessly switch between reading and listening with a single click. Serial Box was founded by Julian Yap and Molly Barton, and it raised $4.5M in a Seed round led by Boat Rocker Media, along with Forerunner Ventures, Uzabase, and Todd Wagner (Owner of 2929 Entertainment, entertainment company co-owned by Mark Cuban). Serial Box has now raised a total of $6.2M across two rounds.

Hammerhead, the company behind the tracking and navigation device Karoo built specifically for cycling, has raised an additional $4.2M in funding from investors that include Maveron, Primary Venture Partners, Drummond Road Capital, Courtside Ventures, KB Partners, and Robin Thurston. Founded by Laurence Wattrus, Piet Morgan, and Raveen Beemsingh in 2013, Hammerhead has now raised a total of $7.4M in reported equity funding.

According to a recent SEC filing, WorldCover, the insurance platform for climate risk, has raised $3.1M in funding. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $4M and that there were sixteen participants in this close. WorldCover was founded by Christopher Sheehan and Shiliang Tang in 2015.
