Cockroach Labs bags $160M led by Altimeter Capital at a $2B valuation


Cockroach Labs, the cloud-native SQL database provider, has raised $160M in Series E funding from investors that include Index Ventures, GV, Benchmark, Tiger Global Management, FirstMark, Altimeter Capital, Greenoaks Capital, Lone Pine Capital, and Bond. Founded by Benjamin Darnell, Peter Mattis, Spencer Kimball in 2015, Cockroach Labs has now raised a total of $355.1M in reported equity funding.
Gro Intelligence raises another $85M for its climate risk analytics and big data platform


Gro Intelligence, the climate intelligence platform for the agriculture industry, has raised $85M in Series B funding from investors that include Intel Capital, Africa Internet Ventures and the family offices of Ronald Lauder and Eric Zinterhofer, DCVC, GGV Capital, Schusterman Family Investments, Dick Parsons, and Rethink Food. Founded by Nemo Semret, Sara Menker, and Sewit Ahderom in 2014, Gro Intelligence has now raised a total of $105.7M in reported equity funding.
TPG Growth Acquires a Majority Stake in Job Recruitment Platform Greenhouse

Greenhouse, the applicant tracking and job recruitment software, has agreed to sell a majority stake to TPG Growth. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed but it has been reported that the transaction values the Greenhouse at $820M. Employee benefits platform Nayya pulls in $11M Series A led by Felicis Ventures


Nayya, the employee insurance benefits experience and management platform, has raised $11M in Series A funding from investors that include Felicis Ventures, Social Leverage, Guardian Life, Unum Group, and Cameron Ventures. Founded by Akash Magoon and Sina Chehrazi in 2019, Nayya has now raised a total of $13.7M in reported equity funding.
Customer onboarding platform Instnt scores another $7M according to a recent filing


Instnt, the onboarding infrastructure platform that seeks to mitigate fraud and compliance risks, has raised $7M in funding according to a recent SEC filing . The filing indicates that there were twenty-one investors in the round. Investors in previous rounds include Revel Partners, Third Prime, Charge Ventures, and Fantail Ventures. Founded by Mimi Salcedo and Sunil Madhu in 2019, Instnt has now raised a total of $9.9M in reported equity funding.

Weather risk management platform and marketplace Arbol picks up another $6.9M in funding


Arbol, the insurance platform to mitigated risk from weather-related incidents, has raised $6.9M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that there were eighteen investors in the round and $703K of the amount represents the conversion of a previous SAFE note. Founded by Ben Andre, Philippe Heilberg, and Siddhartha Jha in 2018, Arbol has now raised a total of $9M in reported equity funding.
Lending data and analytics platform dv01 adds $6M to its Series B and acquires Pragmic to expand into mortgage-backed securities


dv01, the data management platform for the lending industry, has raised $6M in Series B funding from investors that include Pivot Investment Partners and AGNC Ventures. dv01 was founded by Perry Rahbar in 2014. In conjunction with this funding, dv01 announced the acquisition of Pragmic, a data analytics firm focused on the mortgage-backed securities market.
Commercial real estate securities marketplace LEX Market raises $6M and adds Ric Clark to its board


LEX Market, the commercial real estate securities marketplace, has raised $6M in Seed funding from investors that include Ric Clark, Marty Edelman, Kawawa Capital, Inertia Ventures, Modern Venture Partners, Subversive Capital, Two Lanterns Venture Partners, Gaingels, RAJ Capital, and DeAndre Hopkins. Founded by Dean Sterrett, Drew Sterrett, and Jesse Daugherty in 2017, LEX Market has now raised a total of $10M in reported equity funding.
Veterinary telehalth platform Hello Ralphie raises $1M in funding from HearstLab and WPMC
