BLOCKCHAIN

Prometheum, a market infrastructure provider for blockchain securities issuance, trading, custody, and settlement, has raised $23M in additional funding. Founded by Aaron Kaplan, Alexander Shapiro, and Benjamin Kaplan in 2023, Prometheum has now raised a total of $86.2M in reported equity funding.

Whetstone Research – $9M Seed

DEFI

Whetstone Research, a protocol for on-chain price discovery and liquidity bootstrapping for decentralized markets, has raised $9M in Seed funding led by Pantera Capital. Founded by Austin Adams in 2024, Whetstone Research has now raised a total of $10.3M in reported equity funding.

Sorella Labs – $5.2M

BLOCKCHAIN

Sorella Labs has raised $5.2M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $5.5M and there were ten investors in this close. Founded by Karthik Srinivasan and Ludwig Thouvenin in 2022, Sorella Labs has now raised a total of $12.4M in reported equity funding.

Ceremonia – $3.5M

CONSUMER

Ceremonia, a Latinx hair care brand, has raised $3.5M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the round comes from thirty investors. Founded by Babba Canales Rivera in 2020, Ceremonia has now raised a total of $16.5M in reported equity funding.

Alcove – $1M

WORKSPACE

Alcove, a network of privately bookable, soundproof productivity pods for on-demand quiet workspace, has raised $1M in additional funding from investors including Patrick E. Murphy and Christine Wendell. Founded by Helen Knight in 2024, Alcove has now raised a total of $1M in reported equity funding.
