Chainanalysis, the company developing the trust line between digital identities, has raised a Seed round of $1.6M from Converge Venture Partners, FundersClub, Digital Currency Group, Techstars, and Point Nine Capital. This is the 3rd round for the company.

Oscar, the health insurance provider has raised a monumental $400M private equity investment led by Fidelity Investments. The company has now raised $727.5M across 6 rounds since its founding in 2013.  This raise was on $2.7B pre-money valuation, making Oscar the biggest unicorn in NYC presently, surpassing Vice Media.  Here’s a list of all NYC unicorns.

Our friends at Tribeca Venture Partners has recently closed their second fund with $107M in investments.  Founded by Chip Meakem and Brian Hirsch in 2011, TVP has invested in NYC startups such as AppNexus, CommonBond, ShopKeep, and PebblePost.  According it its website, the company has 6 exists under its belt from investments from its first fund.

Giggle, the online retailer for baby care products, has announced a venture round of $8.14M. Giggle has now raised $43.34M over their 5 rounds.

Namely, the HR, payroll and benefit platform has raised $30M in a Venture led by Sequoia Capital with support from Greenspring Associates, Matrix Partners and True Ventures. This round puts founder Matt Straz above the $100M total funding with a total of  $107.8M over 8 rounds.

TodayTix, the last minute Broadway –show ticket platform, has raised a Series B round of $9M. TYLT Ventures and Walden Venture Capital led the investment with help from Jeremy Zimmer, Jessica Verrilli, Nicolas Jammet, Danny Meyer, SF Capital Group and Rubicon Venture Capital.

Makespace, the full service storage company, has raised a $17.5M Series B round from Harmony Ventures and Upfront Ventures. Founders Rahul Gandhi, Sam Rosen and Adam LeVasseur have raised $27.6M over 3 rounds now.

Vanare, the wealth management platform, has raised a $3.49M venture round. For founder Richard Cancro this is the 3rd round raised in the last year.

APPCard, the all in one loyalty card, has raised a Series B round of $20M led by investors PLDT capital and Alexander Rittweger. The founders, Yair Goldfinger and Amichay Oren, have raised $26M over their 2 rounds.
