H1 Acquires Ribbon Health to Expand Healthcare Provider Data Platform

H1, the healthcare data analytics platform, has acquired Ribbon Health, a provider data platform for health plans and digital health companies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “From the moment Ariel and I first met, it was clear that Ribbon and H1 were destined to collaborate. Our platforms—and our visions—mesh perfectly,” remarked Nate Maslak, cofounder and CEO of Ribbon Health. “By combining our comprehensive provider data and provider data management software with H1’s clinical insights and global reach, we’re giving individuals the information they need to get the best possible care.”

Founded by Nate Fox and Nate Maslak in 2016, Ribbon Health had raised a total of $53.8M in equity funding is backed by Y Combinator, Andreessen Horowitz, SV Angel, General Catalyst, BoxGroup, Great Oaks Venture Capital, Dorm Room Fund, Rough Draft Ventures, Rock Health Capital, Core Innovation Capital, Nat Turner, The Graduate Syndicate, Atypical Ventures, Vivek Garipalli, Eric Roza, Daniel Amitay, and Sachin Jain. Ribbon Health developed a platform that helps patients find the right doctors across digital health and insurance platforms. As part of the acquisition, Ribbon Health’s platform will be integrated into H1’s product portfolio as H1 for Health Plans & Digital Health, providing insurers, providers, and digital health companies with accurate, real-time provider data.
