We keep you abreast of the things that you may have missed in NYC Tech News for the week ending 1/25 including the NYC startup fundings, NYC startup exits, and NYC startup events featuring news for Men in Blazers, Nilus, Fundriase Up, and much, much more.


Fundraise Up – $70M

Fundraise Up, a fundraising platform for nonprofits, has raised $70M in additional funding led by Summit Partners. Founded by Peter Byrnes, Yuriy Smirnov, and Anton Isaykin in 2017, Fundraise Up has now raised a total of $82.1M in reported equity funding.


Clay – $40M

Clay, a platform to manage GTM teams and workflows, has raised $40M in Series B funding led by Meritech Capital Partners. Founded by Kareem Amin, Nicolae Rusan,and Varun Anand in 2017, Clay has now raised a total of $102M in reported equity funding.


StructuredWeb – $30M

StructuredWeb, an AI-powered channel sales and marketing platform, has raised $30M in additional funding led by Invictus Growth Partners. Founded by Daniel Nissan in 1998, StructuredWeb has now raised a total of $32M in reported equity funding.


LeapXpert – $20M

LeapXpert, a compliance and governance solution for business communications across various platforms, has raised $20M in Series B funding led by Portage Ventures. Founded by Avi Pardo, Dima Gutzeit, and Rina Charles in 2017, LeapXpert has now raised a total of $42.5M in reported equity funding.


Infinite Reality Acquires Obsess

Men in Blazers – $15M

Men in Blazers, a soccer-focused media company, has raised $15M in Series A funding led by Avenue Capital Group. Men in Blazers was founded by Roger Bennett. in 2010.


Belfry – $12M

Belfry, a platform for managing security guard businesses, has raised $12M in Series A funding led by Base10 Partners. Founded by Jordan Wallach and Alex Tulenko in 2022, Belfry has now raised a total of $20M in reported equity funding.


Baton Market – $10M

Baton Market, a marketplace to buy and sell small and medium-sized businesses, has raised $10M in Series A funding led by Obvious Ventures. Founded by Chat Joglekar, Jamie Roth, and Dylan Gans in 2021, Baton Market has now raised a total of $12.8M in reported equity funding.


Merit Systems – $10M

Merit Systems, a plaform designed to incentivize the development of open sourcc software, has raised $10M in Seed funding led by Avenue Capital Group. Merit Systems was founded by Ryan Sproule, Sam Ragsdale, and Mason Hall in 2024.

Nilus – $10M

Nilus, an AI-powered treasury management platform, has raised $10M in Venture funding led by Vesey Ventures and Felicis. Founded by Daniel Kalish and Danielle Shaul in 2022, Nilus has now raised a total of $18.6M in reported equity funding.


1up – $8.6M

1up, a knowledge automation platform for sales teams, has raised $8.6M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that there were thirty-one investors in the round. Founded by George Avetisov in 2021, 1up has now raised a total of $11.9M in reported equity funding.


Sense Education – $3.8M

Sense Education, an AI-powered platform to assist educators in reviewing coursework, has raised $3.8M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that there were ten investors in the round. Sense Education was founded by Ronen Tal-Botzer in 2016.


TownHome Health – $300K

TownHome Health, an operator of urgent care for mental health episodes, has raised $300K in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $500K and this close comes from a sole investor. Founded by Charles Raisch in 2021, TownHome Health has now raised a total of $2.1M in reported equity funding.
