JFE (Jews For Entrepreneurship) Accelerator is the first and only non-profit startup accelerator that focuses on Israeli and Jewish-originated startups with high potential and industry changing ideas. Founded in 2009 in San Francisco, 70 startups have participated in the program. To day. Twenty-four of them have collectively raised of $30 million. Two have been acquired.

JFE opened their New York City-based branch last year. With a focus on Fintech, Healthtech, and Enterprise Software, the 2014 class is in session, and they’re getting down to business:

TripleIt

TripleIT has developed a disruptive platform for building organizational information systems that saves considerable development time, costs, requires less technical skills, and integrates with the current development platforms. Development has never been simpler.

Mednexus

Data-Driven Curation of Medical Research. Mednexus is the first content recommendation engine for healthcare professionals to leverage machine learning algorithms and curation to deliver highly personalized content. The market includes physicians, medical students and residents, academic and industry researchers, and market research firms.

Tradle

Tradle is a marketplace for trading strategies. Tradle develops tools and proprietary algorithms to traders in real-time. It is an essential set of tools for investors/traders/experts whose strategy is mainly focused on event-driven opportunities.

Outleads

Outleads is disrupting the current lead generation and enterprise sales models by deploying new patent-pending, call tracking technologies. These include Dynamic Capture, which delivers detailed call analytics using a single phone number, Segment Precision, which enables segmentation of callers for targeted follow-on advertising campaigns, SMS notifications, and tracking off-site calls.

OceanTailer

OceanTailer is a b2b e-commerce trade platform that aims to solve the fragmented wholesale distribution market place.  The company levels the playing field for smaller retailers by providing them with the supplier network and logistical support to better compete with larger, more established counterparts. Through OceanTailer, retailers can drives down costs, increase sales and scale, while suppliers get a long-term, consistent pipeline of sales.

YourNeighborhood

The entire process of finding a place to live in a new city is outdated, ineffective, and can be handled more efficiently. Deploying proprietary algorithms and social input, YourNeighborhood provides an end-to-end system that enables users to find the best neighborhood to live in based on demographics, budget, and feedback from its local residents.
