Leah Neaderthal helps world changing nonprofits and social enterprises craft and tell their story. As the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Start Somewhere, Leah works with each client to understand their business, then builds creative strategies to help achieve their goals quickly and efficiently. Prior to founding Start Somewhere, Leah spent ten years in marketing for some of the worlds’ biggest advertising agencies, a tech PR firm, and one scrappy software company. Leah’s experience includes leading business development and marketing at LaunchSquad PR firm for tech startups, software startup SAVO, and global marketing agencies Arc Worldwide, Leo Burnett and DDB. Leah is the founder of The Chainlink, the online community for Chicago cycling. Reaching 1,000 members in 9 months and 7,500 members in 4 years, The Chainlink is the largest cycling resource and community. She sold the company in 2011 to her co-founder before moving to San Francisco. Leah and her partner provide a model for working/living remotely, living 4-6 months in international cities each year.
