Blackbird – $50M Series B

BLOCKCHAIN

Blackbird, a blockchain-based loyalty and payment platform for restaurants, has raised $50M in Series B funding led by Spark Capital. Founded by Ben Leventhal and Phil Toronto in 2022, Blackbird has now raised a total of $85M in reported equity funding.

Arena – $30M Series B

AI

Arena, a platform that uses AI to test, debug, and optimize advanced hardware, has raised $30M in Series B funding led by Initialized Capital, Goldcrest Capital, and Fifth Down Capital. Founded by Pratap Ranade, Rob Speare, and Engin Ura in 2019, Arena has now raised a total of $62M in reported equity funding.

Tracera – $12M Series A

SUSTAINABILITY

Tracera, an AI-platform for helping companies understand their sustainability exposure and data, has raised $12M in Series A funding led by Foundry Group. Founded by Patrick Obeid in 2022, Tracera, which rebranded from ESG Flo, has now raised a total of $17.3M in reported equity funding.

Luzern Risk – $12M Series A

INSURTECH

Luzern Risk, a digital capital insurance platform, has raised $12M in Series A funding led by Caffeinated Capital. Luzern Risk, which rebranded from XN Captive, was founded by Gabriel Weiss, Rachel Jenkins, and Sam Espinosa in 2023.

DIAMO – $4M Seed

HOSPITALITY

DIAMO, a revenue platform for independent hotels, has raised $4M in Seed funding led by Inovia Capital and Thayer Ventures. DIAMO, a spin out of Life House, is led by James Kay and was founded in 2024.

LiquidX – $2M

FINTECH

LiquidX, the electronic exchange for trade finance, has raised $2M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $2.5M and there were two investors in this close. Founded by Jesse Bornstein and Jim Toffey in 2015, LiquidX has now raised a total of $43M in reported equity funding.
