H1, the software company building a professional healthcare database, raised $12.9M in Series A funding. Menlo Ventures led the round, joined by Novartis DRX, Y Combinator, Baron Davis Enterprises, ClearPoint Investment Partners, Jeff Hammerbacher, Liquid 2 Ventures, and Underscore VC. The filing indicates that the funding came from twenty-eight investors. Investors in previous rounds include Social Starts, AAF Management Ltd., Fenbushi Capital, Kenetic, MindWorks Capital, ConsenSys Ventures, Fitz Gate Ventures, GINCO Investments, Galaxy Ventures Co., Ltd, Bloccelerate Vc, and Elliptic Ventures. Founded by James Hormuzdiar, Kieren James Lubin, and Victor Wong in 2015, BlockApps had previously raised a total of $3.1M in reported equity funding.
