We keep you abreast of the things that you may have missed in NYC Tech News for the week ending 5/30/26 including the NYC startup fundings, NYC startup exits, and NYC startup events featuring news for Modal Labs, OpenRouter, Garner Health, and much, much more.

Modal Labs – $355M

Artificial Intelligence

Modal Labs, a cloud computing platform that runs AI and machine learning workloads for developers, has raised $355M in Series C funding co-led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures with participation from Menlo Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, and Accel. Founded by Erik Bernhardsson, Akshat Bubna in 2021, Modal Labs has now raised a total of $466M in reported equity funding.

OpenRouter – $113M

Artificial Intelligence

OpenRouter, an AI model exchange that routes inference requests across hundreds of large language models and providers, has raised $113M in Series B funding led by CapitalG with participation from NVentures, ServiceNow Ventures, MongoDB Ventures, Snowflake Ventures, Databricks Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Menlo Ventures. Founded by Alex Atallah and Louis Vichy in 2023, OpenRouter has now raised a total of $153M in reported equity funding.

Garner Health – $100M

Health Tech

Garner Health, a healthcare platform that helps patients find top-rated doctors using better data and financial incentives, has raised $100M in Series E funding from investors that include Index Ventures, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Redpoint, Thrive, Sequoia, Founders Fund, and Kaiser Permanente Ventures. Founded by Nick Reber in 2019, Garner Health has now raised a total of $300M in reported equity funding.

Daloopa – $47M

FinTech

Daloopa, a data platform that provides source-linked financial information for AI tools and investment firms, has raised $47M in Series C funding from investors that include Brighton Park Capital, with participation from Squarepoint Capital, Touring Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners. Daloopa was founded by Daniel Chen, Thomas Li, and Jeremy Huang in 2019.

Pace – $46M

FinTech

Pace, an AI operations platform that automates insurance workflows including submissions, renewals, and claims for carriers, brokers, and MGAs, has raised $46M in Series B funding co-led by Thrive Capital and Sequoia Capital with participation from Emergence Capital and Pruven. Founded by Jamie Cuffe in 2024, Pace has now raised a total of $56M in reported equity funding.

H1 – $40M

Health Tech

H1, an AI-powered platform that helps healthcare companies connect with the right doctors, has raised $40M in Venture funding from investors that include CVS Health Ventures. H1 was founded by Ariel Katz and Ian Sax in 2017.

Ornn AI – $33.7M

FinTech

Ornn AI, a compute derivatives exchange that creates cash-settled futures and price indices for GPU compute resources, has raised $33.7M according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $33,717,924 and there were thirty-five investors in this close. Ornn AI was founded by Kush Bavaria and Wayne Nelms in 2025. Ornn AI has now raised a total of $39.4M in reported equity funding.

Capchase – $26M

FinTech

Capchase, a fintech platform that provides vendor financing for enterprise technology companies, has raised $26M in Venture funding from investors that include 01 Advisors, with participation from Caffeinated Capital, Thomvest Ventures, SciFi VC, Bling Capital, and Invesco. Capchase was founded by Miguel Fernandez, Ignacio Moreno, Luis Basagoiti, and Przemek Gotfryd in 2020.

Texture – $12.5M

Climate Tech

Texture, an operating system for energy utilities that manages grid visibility and distributed resource coordination, has raised $12.5M in Series A funding co-led by VoLo Earth and Equal Ventures with participation from Lerer Hippeau and Abstract Ventures. Founded by Sanjiv Sanghavi, Victor Quinn in 2023, Texture has now raised a total of $23M in reported equity funding.

Kubera Health – $6.5M

Health Tech

Kubera Health, a software platform that connects healthcare contracts to provider payments, has raised $6.5M in Seed funding from investors that include Upfront Ventures, with participation from Company Ventures, Dria Ventures, and SemperVirens. Founded by Roja Garimella in 2023, Kubera Health has now raised a total of $9.5M in reported equity funding.

Vetir – $5.5M

Fashion Tech

Vetir, an AI-powered luxury wardrobe platform that personalizes shopping and styling for high-value consumers, has raised $5.5M in Series A funding from investors that include Laidlaw & Company. Vetir was founded by Kate Davidson Hudson in 2023.

Farm To People – $4.3M

Consumer

Farm To People, an online grocery delivery service that connects consumers to locally sourced food from farms within 300 miles of NYC, has raised $4.3M according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $4,999,995 and there were seven investors in this close. Farm To People was founded by Michael Robinov in 2021.

Patina – $2M

Fashion Tech

Patina, a fragrance technology company that discovers new scent molecules using machine learning and molecular design, has raised $2M in Venture funding from investors that include Betaworks and True Ventures. Patina was founded by Sean Raspet, Laura Sisson in 2024.
